Taiho Shawn Cleary

Shawn Taiho Cleary is a city councillor and business professor in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He delved into Buddhism in 1995, trying Tibetan and Thervadan practices until finding the “fit” of Soto Zen in 2007, when he began sitting with the Atlantic Soto Zen centre. Shawn undertook Zaike Tokudo in 2010.
